<p>Manage all food service operations at Huffer to ensure every child has well balanced, nutritious, delicious, and filling meals that also meet all State and Federal guidelines. Also to maintain cleanliness of the center and maintain the laundry services.</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Food Safe Manager Certification Mandatory </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li><li>Food Service Experience </li><li>Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check </li><li>Work with food vendor to plan and prepare menus that meet the CACFP guidelines for breakfast, lunch, and snacks </li><li>Obtain meal counts for each classroom and notify the food vendor </li><li>Pickup meals from food vendor, maintain consistent pickup schedule </li><li>Perform any and all necessary food preparation </li><li>Deliver meals and snacks to each classroom at the designated times </li><li>Plan for meals that are unable to be vended and prepare and serve those meals </li><li>Weekly grocery shopping for kitchen and classroom needs </li><li>Purchase cleaning supplies </li><li>Plan and prepare all meals for the Infants </li><li>Meal planning and preparation for special events </li><li>Maintain and keep clean the entire food service area, kitchen equipment, supplies, and storage areas </li><li>Maintain an inventory of food and records of food usage as required by CACFP </li><li>Maintain, organize, and submit all monthly bills and receipts pertaining to food service and housekeeping </li><li>Monitor and track refrigerator and freezer temperatures </li><li>Monitor and track meal temperatures </li><li>Clean and wash dishes </li><li>Wash, dry, and organize all soiled/dirty laundry daily. Keep separated by classroom </li><li>Prepare bleach solution daily and put in spray bottles for each classroom </li></ul> <p>All other duties as assigned</p> <p>Child Care Benefits</p>
