<p>CITY OF MARTINSBURG</p> <p>ASSISTANT UTILITIES DIRECTOR</p> <p>The City of Martinsburg, West Virginia, located in the heart of the Eastern Panhandle, is seeking an Assistant Utilities Director to assist in the supervision and operation of two water treatment plants, one wastewater treatment plant, and associated infrastructure.</p> <p>Graduation from a two-year college or university with a degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Public Administration, Engineering or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience related to the construction, repair and maintenance of water distribution, wastewater collection or treatment systems including the operation of a water plant or any equivalent education or experience is required.</p> <p>The Assistant Utilities Director performs a variety of skilled, technical, supervisory, and administrative work in the planning, construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of municipal water distribution and treatment systems, and wastewater collection and treatment systems. Employee works under the general supervision of the Utilities Director.</p> <p>Minimum starting salary of $59,178. Offer commensurate with qualifications and work experience.
