This is an on-site role based in Charleston, SC.</p> <p>Contingent Upon Contract Award</p> <p>The Computer Engineer III will develop, create, and modify computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Must have active Secret clearance.</p> <p>The Computer Engineer III will:</p> <ul> <li>Collects information on project specifications, performance requirements, and known capabilities and limitations. </li><li>Determines hardware system status and limitations by gathering and evaluating information on a variety of factors including security and reporting needs. </li><li>Reviews and modifies existing software to improve performance, correct errors, and conform with compatibility requirements of available hardware. </li><li>Determines feasibility of proposed application modifications or design, ensuring the needs and requirements of the user will be met within time and cost requirements </li><li>Designs applications and systems to meet the project requirements, collaborating with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and other developers as needed. </li><li>Develops and leads software system testing and validation procedures; compiles relevant documentation. </li><li>Trains, or provide training documentation to, users on new or modified applications. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Active DoD Secret Security Clearance </li><li>3 + years of technical experience. </li><li>Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills </li><li>Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality </li><li>Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint </li><li>Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment </li><li>Ability to work independently </li><li>Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines </li><li>Detail oriented </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues </li><li>Ability to adapt to evolving technology </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Master's or bachelor's degree in computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science </li><li>Seven (7) years with master's or eleven (11) years with bachelor's degree of experience in computer design, software development or computer networks </li><li>Three (3) years of technical experience in support of Penetration Testing or certified Red Team.
