<p>Job Posting End Date</p> <p>05-19-2025</p> <p>Please note the job posting will close on the day before the posting end date</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Install and maintain self-contained electric meters energized up to 240 volts in the shop and on customer premises.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Read meters as required for field order and on schedule for cycle billingInstall, remove, change disconnect, and reconnect meters. </li><li>Test singlephase, network, and polyphase self-contained meter for proper operation and accuracyProgram meters </li><li>Perform Credit and Collections related order including disconnect and reconnect for non-payment </li><li>Investigate irregular usageInvestigate energy diversion </li><li>Repair meters, meter sockets, and meter enclosures </li><li>Order, receive, ship, store, and inventory meter and associated equipment </li><li>Investigate self-contained service power quality problems, install event recorders, neutral testers, and produce reports </li><li>Perform work from ladders and elevated platforms </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Education requirements are listed below:Associates Degree in electrical/electronic technology</p> <p>Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below:State Driver's License</p> <p>OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Within 24 months of employment, successfully complete the Company's training and qualification program for this position including: classroom instruction; written examination; job mentoring; and job performance demonstrations.
