<p>Kforce is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of a major telecommunications client in Denver, CO. This is a high-impact role focused on building and managing scalable cloud infrastructure within a modern AWS environment.</p> <p>Summary: This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about infrastructure as code, automation, and cloud architecture. The role is heavily infrastructure-focused and not centered on data engineering or ETL work.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform </li><li>Support and scale AWS services across a distributed environment </li><li>Manage and maintain data lake infrastructure (primarily S3) to ensure accessibility </li><li>Implement infrastructure as code best practices (no manual console usage) </li><li>Contribute to and enhance CI/CD pipelines </li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions* Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (multiple years preferred) </li></ul> <p>Deep knowledge of AWS, including:</p> <ul> <li>EKS (Kubernetes) </li><li>Lambda </li><li>S3 </li><li>IAM </li><li>Networking (critical) </li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab or similar) </li><li>Proven ability to operate at a senior level and work independently </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Python </li><li>Familiarity with Kubernetes environments </li><li>Exposure to bare metal infrastructure </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Senior-level engineers who can hit the ground running </li><li>Strong problem solvers with an infrastructure-first mindset </li><li>Candidates who are adaptable and can quickly learn new tools and environments </li></ul>
