From rock shows to family shows and much more, the arena has hosted top names in show business as well as numerous community events.</p> <p>Benefits include the option to enroll in 401k with a company match, free parking, and a wide variety of team member activities.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Greet customers, patrons, or visitors. </li><li>Provide event information to patrons. </li><li>Collect admission tickets and passes from patrons at entertainment events. </li><li>Settle seating disputes or help solve other customer concerns. </li><li>Mediate disputes. </li><li>Resolve customer complaints or problems. </li><li>Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color or date issued. </li><li>Verify patron or staff credentials. </li><li>Provide assistance with patrons' special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs. </li><li>Guide patrons to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency. </li><li>Usher patrons to seats or exits. </li><li>Verify credentials of patrons desiring entrance into authorized persons areas. </li><li>Refuse admittance to undesirable persons or persons without tickets or passes. </li><li>Distribute programs to patrons. </li><li>Assist patrons by giving directions to points in or outside of the facility or providing information about local attractions. </li><li>Provide patrons with directions to locales or attractions. </li><li>Assist patrons in finding seats, lighting the way with flashlights, if necessary. </li><li>Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules. </li><li>Monitor environment to ensure safety. </li><li>Search for lost articles or for parents of lost children. </li><li>Search all bags for outside food and beverages and anything unsafe. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills and enjoy working with the public. </li><li>Must have a good speaking voice and the ability to improvise and be a quick thinker. </li><li>Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. </li><li>Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. </li><li>Must present a well-groomed appearance and meet all requirements of company/property appearance standards. </li><li>Must be able to work independently and with little supervision. </li><li>Must be able to maneuver throughout event areas. </li><li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, and balance when in front of or interacting with guests. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. </li><li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. </li><li>Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke. </li></ul>
