<p>About Berkshire Community College:</p> <p>Berkshire Community College (BCC) has the distinction of being the first community college established in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Nestled in the scenic Berkshire Hills, our nearly 2,000 students have access to a wide range of career and transfer programs on our newly renovated campus. BCC seeks to recruit diverse employees who embrace, as well as demonstrate, a commitment to diversity and inclusion and whose experiences and perspectives model the opportunities and success derived from a college education.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Special Programs Coordinator, Bridge to College, provides student support for Bridge to College programs for area high school students, as well as administrative coordination of Career Technical Education articulation agreements. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Bridge to College, within the Student Affairs and Enrollment Management division, the Special Programs Coordinator provides support for application and enrollment for dual and concurrent enrollment, general student support in Bridge to College experiences, and administrative support and coordination for Career and Technical Education articulation agreements. The Coordinator collaborates on these articulation agreements with Academic Affairs and receives guidance from the Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Executive Director of Academic Operations, Planning, and Assessment.</p> <p>Essential functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Student support for Bridge to College</p> </li><li> <p>Provide orientation for dual enrollment students focused on BCC resources, student success strategies, and navigating college.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist high school students with the application and registration process for dual enrollment, concurrent enrollment, and Early College.</p> </li><li> <p>Use BCC systems to track and manage applications and enrollment requests from students.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the Bridge to College Senior Manager in recruitment efforts for Bridge to College programs, and in optimizing enrollment processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Adapt or create how-to materials for Bridge to College students on accessing BCC systems and registering for classes.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate to dual enrollment students about student success resources, important dates on the academic calendar, and enrollment processes using the College's student success platform (EAB Navigate).</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the Bridge to College team and area high schools on programming for student success. Visit high schools as needed to support recruitment, enrollment, and student success initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide general academic support for dual enrollment students at key points during the semester.</p> </li><li> <p>Bridge to College collaboration</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the entire Bridge to College team to continuously improve dual and concurrent enrollment processes and supports.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with budget planning and grant management for the Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Partnership (CDEP) grant in programming, data collection, and report writing.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in college-wide events as requested and as relevant to Bridge to College work.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with BCC Admissions on recruitment efforts for Bridge to College.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in coordination of concurrent enrollment course offerings, collaborating with the Senior Manager of Bridge to College and the Executive Director of Academic Operations, Planning, and Assessment.</p> </li><li> <p>Support for secondary-postsecondary Career Technical Education (CTE) articulation agreements and the Perkins grant</p> </li><li> <p>Work with appropriate faculty, staff, and administration to develop and update CTE articulation agreements and related processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a member of appropriate boards and committees related to CTE such as advisory boards for local CTE secondary programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate activities for secondary concurrent and CTE students to explore postsecondary programs at the college.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor statewide articulation agreement statuses and adapt related processes if changes occur.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with the Senior Manager of Bridge to College to develop and implement processes to identify and communicate with students entering BCC who may be eligible for CTE-articulated credit within the CRM system, including developing a communication plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with high school and BCC partners to process student requests for CTE-articulated credit.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Grants Development & Management as needed on Perkins grant related data, reporting, and program changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with and receive guidance on the Perkins grant from the Vice President of Academic Affairs.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing, Education Administration, or other field related to position. </li><li>Three years' experience in student services, program/project management, education, grant management or administration, academic advising, admissions, student engagement, or career development; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and processes. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders (students, BCC staff and faculty, high school guidance counselors). </li><li>Ability to use digital college systems (such as the CRM, Colleague, and Navigate 360) for tracking, application management, enrollment, communication, and reporting. </li><li>Ability to provide general academic support and referrals to resources to high school students enrolled in college classes. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule.</p> <ul> <li>Source of Funding: State and Grant </li><li>Salary: $63,159 - $69,430 per year*, MCCC Grade 4; Full-time, Benefited </li><li>Area of Assignment: Student Affairs & Enrollment Management </li><li>Effective Start Date: September 2025 </li><li>Actual salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). </li></ul> <p>Pursuant to the Clery Act of 1990 a copy of Berkshire Community College's security report is available on the BCC Website.</p> <p>BCC is committed to providing an inclusive learning and working environment that values the diverse backgrounds of all people and encourages applications from individuals whose experiences and perspectives model the opportunities and success derived from a college education.</p> <p>Berkshire Community College is an affirmative action/equal opportunity institution and does not discriminate on basis of race, creed, religion, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic information, maternity leave, military service, and national origin in its education programs or employment.
