<p>The Quality Technician has the responsibility for performing departmental analytical and clerical work in support of the plant quality function which includes conducting lab tests, preparing samples for shipment, and responding to internal calls.</p> <p>Ideal candidates will have 1 - 2 years of prior laboratory experience, preferably in a food grade manufacturing facility.</p> <ul> <li>Diligence, develop workflow, and organization skills. </li><li>Visual inspection of collected samples. </li><li>Conduct and interpret lab tests results. </li><li>Review of exported data and leading to accurate data reporting. </li><li>Prepare and package samples for shipment to 3rd party testing locations. </li><li>Transport samples to 3rd party testing location as needed. </li><li>Conduct calibrations and routine maintenance on all lab equipment. </li><li>Troubleshoot lab issues. </li><li>Ensure daily documentation and daily labels for production. </li><li>Assist inventory control process. </li><li>Read and properly interpret documents such as lab results, GMP Manual, HACCP Programs and procedure manuals. </li><li>Follow plant and laboratory GMPs to maintain a clean equipment and work area. </li><li>Complete routine clerical work such as filing, checking, and entering required information into the computer system. </li><li>Perform environmental and product testing and communicate results to the plant and corporate management groups as needed. </li><li>Advise operations associates to assure GMPs are followed in the plant. </li><li>Solve practical problems and comfortably deal in high pressure situations. </li><li>Possess the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral forms. </li><li>Send timely "Out of Specification" (OOS) notices as needed to internal and appropriate corporate management </li><li>Computer literacy: Knowledge and efficiently use Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. </li><li>Communication with production team, supervisors, HR, and management. </li><li>Create COA / COC as needed. </li></ul> <p>We are committed to identifying and recruiting dedicated and reliable candidates to join the team of passionate employees.
