<p>Carlisle Companies Incorporated, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an exciting opportunity for a Divisional Product Manager - Architectural Metals to join our Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM) Product & Marketing team. The Divisional Product Manager is a key leadership role within Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM), responsible for leading the product management team and owning the strategic direction of the product portfolio across all CAM brands. This role ensures that CAM delivers innovative, market-driven solutions by understanding market dynamics, customer needs, and product performance. Reporting to the Director of Product & Marketing, the Manager will drive alignment across product development, marketing, sales, and operations-while partnering closely with innovation, R&D, and technical teams across CAM and Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM).</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Product Strategy & Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Own the development and execution of CAM's product strategy and roadmap to support growth, differentiation, and customer value. </li><li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers across multiple product lines, fostering a strong ownership mindset and market orientation. </li><li>Ensure each Product Manager has a deep understanding of their market, the product portfolio, and market performance-including how well or not well the product is performing, why/why not, and identifying opportunities or countermeasures. </li><li>Drive alignment across the business to ensure successful execution of product priorities, initiatives, and lifecycle plans. </li></ul> <p>Market Understanding & Portfolio Management</p> <ul> <li>Ensure product managers are accountable for knowing their markets and the competitive landscape-using data, VOC, and market intelligence to inform decisions. </li><li>Drive portfolio planning activities and KPI's including product rationalization, performance tracking, and pricing strategy. </li><li>Use insights to inform prioritization, investment cases, and mid- to long-term product planning. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional & CCM Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Innovation, R&D, and Technical teams across the Carlisle brands to ensure CAM's product strategy aligns with broader corporate initiatives and new technology opportunities. </li><li>Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Technical Services, Operations, and Marketing to ensure product feasibility, quality, and market fit. </li><li>Partner with Marketing and Sales to ensure product positioning, training, and value propositions align with customer needs and market trends. </li></ul> <p>Go-to-Market (GTM) & Commercial Enablement</p> <ul> <li>Support successful GTM execution by working with Marketing to develop product strategy, product messaging, launch plans, and sales enablement tools. </li><li>Ensure the team provides commercial support on pricing, customer feedback, and competitive differentiation. </li><li>Engage regularly with customers, specifiers, and field teams to stay close to product performance and market demand. </li><li>Represent CAM as a thought leader and driver of industry innovation with participation in industry associations, professional groups, and events. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>6+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. </li><li>Strong background in the building materials, construction, or manufacturing industries preferred. </li><li>Proven ability to build and execute product strategies based on data, insight, and market trends. </li><li>Strong commercial and technical acumen, with experience managing cross-functional product initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>A Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing and or/Engineering related field required. MBA, project management, or product management certifications are a plus/preferred.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <p>Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, VOC, and market analysis. </li><li>Strong knowledge of the building materials industry, including commercial trends, installer needs, and specification dynamics. </li><li>Familiarity with innovation, R&D, and technical processes in a manufacturing or industrial setting. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic thinking and product portfolio planning. </li><li>Team leadership and talent development. </li><li>Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator. </li><li>Proficient in data analysis, pricing strategy, and business case development. </li></ul> <p>Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to translate customer and market insight into actionable product strategies. </li><li>Ability to foster strong partnerships across internal functions and with CCM counterparts. </li><li>Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and lead through change. </li><li>Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution in a fast-paced, decentralized environment. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Travel Requirements: Up to 40% travel required.</p> <p>Flexible Schedule: Ability to manage your time effectively and balance work commitments with travel obligations.</p> <p>#LI-KT1</p>
