<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Rotating Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as prescribed as well as monitoring for complications, infections, or changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduation from an accredited nursing school</p> </li><li> <p>Valid RN license in Connecticut</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>The ideal candidate will have two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med-surg nursing in a acute inpatient setting.</p> </li><li> <p>BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Per Diem-Rotating Schedule </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information</p> <p>Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital is Connecticut's only freestanding acute care rehabilitation hospital and is the largest provider of these services in Connecticut.
