<p>Summary</p> <p>Serves as a resource to the business unit and is responsible for using the CADD and drafting system to produce finished drawings or worksheets from the field and/or office data.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Performs calculations required to produce the information for maps and </li></ul> <p>drawings to be completed by the draftsperson or to produce finished work.</p> <ul> <li>Prepares layouts, drawings, and designs from detailed sketches and/ </li></ul> <p>or drawings made by technicians, designers, or technical professionals,</p> <p>converting paper documents into computerized files.</p> <ul> <li>Maintains an accurate system of filing calculations so that they </li></ul> <p>may be easily identified and recalled for reference.</p> <ul> <li>Notifies appropriate personnel of problem areas regarding field </li></ul> <p>information so that appropriate measures may be taken or considered.</p> <ul> <li>Routinely communicates with principals, engineers, </li></ul> <p>information technology managers, and surveying.</p> <ul> <li>Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Must be proficient in AutoCAD. </li><li>Must be a self-starter. </li><li>Valid Driver's License. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>A.S. in AutoCAD or related field. </li><li>0-2 years of experience. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
