As part of the professional healthcare team, the Police Departments mission is to protect and serve the patients, visitors and staff of all ECU Health entities in order to provide a high quality, cost effective and secure environment for the provision of quality patient care.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The ECU Health Public Safety Officer performs the complete range of security services provided to the patients, visitors, and staff of ECU Health Medical Center.</p> <p>As a Public Safety Officer, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Demonstrate acceptable level of Service Excellence behaviors and acceptable level of work habits behavior. Must meet professional standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
