As one of the busiest tow pounds in the city, the Brooklyn facility operates 24/7 and plays a key role in maintaining traffic safety and regulatory enforcement across the borough.</p> <p>The NYPD is seeking a qualified Cashier Level 1 to support the administrative operations of the Brooklyn Tow Pound. Responsibilities include processing payments received from customers and credit card transactions, preparing documents and batches for data entry into accounting systems and deposits checks and money orders to the bank through remote deposit. They will review payments received and send appropriate correspondence to customers who have not submitted the appropriate forms.
