<p>This person provides direct service to students and families. The person consults with the professional staff on student issues. The person conducts assessments, interest inventories, and other evaluations as needed to assist students in developing high school plans, course selection, work experience, and post secondary options. Provides personal counseling service to students as needed. This service is provided in a school setting.</p> <ul> <li>Provides direct counseling services to students. </li><li>Completes assessments and evaluations as may be needed to complete these functions. </li><li>Serves as a member of the school's Student Review Committee. </li><li>Conducts research on post secondary programs, work opportunities, scholarship and other financial aid sources. </li><li>Completes student schedules as required. Ensures that student schedules are in conformance with School Committee policy and State regulations. </li><li>Completes written reports as required, including student recommendations. </li><li>Ensures that student records are kept in accordance with the requirements of Student Record Regulations, Federal and State statutes. </li><li>Consults with the professional staff on student needs. </li><li>Develops School to Work, Directed Study and Community Service programs with local businesses, agencies, and the professional staff in other schools within the district. </li></ul> <p>My application affirms, that I have read and understand that the information which I have provided with this application process and the accompanying resume is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
