You could be shoveling sand, sweeping and cleaning designated areas, operating a forklift, and more!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Essentials Job Duties:</p> <p>As a Maintenance Helper team member, you may be assigned to any of the following functions as needed per production and staffing needs:</p> <ul> <li>Shovels sand from pits using flat edge shovel </li><li>Sweeps and cleans designated areas </li><li>Uses push broom, sweeping dust and debris from assigned areas and discard into waste receptacle </li><li>Removal of waste sandbags from designated areas </li><li>Operation of forklift after obtaining certification, operate forklift to transport waste and product </li><li>Ability to take direction from supervisor; understanding temperatures controls; assisting with the cleaning/maintaining furnaces ladles </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Requires standing up to 10 hours per day </li><li>Repetitive use of both hands and feet up to 10 hours per day </li><li>Constant awareness of surroundings </li><li>Requires some pushing/pulling/lifting (up to 50 lbs) </li></ul> <p>Benefits & Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>Standard shift Monday-Friday </li><li>Offered Over Time </li><li>Sundays off </li><li>On-site nurse </li><li>Health benefits, on-site nurse, 401k and Paid Holidays after 90 days </li></ul> <p>ASC Engineered Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
