Software is an integral part in realizing this vision and we are hiring a software manager to play a leadership role shaping our future.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our high-impact Strategic Network Planning team tasked with shaping the future of our EV fast charging network. This role sits at the intersection of data, infrastructure, and decision-making under uncertainty. You will help translate real-world performance, partner dynamics, regulatory environments, and throughput signals into deployable strategies that scale.</p> <p>This is not a pure analytics role. It's for someone who thinks in systems, works across functions, and understands that what you measure changes what you build. .</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Model Network Expansion Tradeoffs </li><li>Translate throughput, utilization, congestion, tariff exposure, and site friction into actionable planning frameworks. </li><li>Help build a more adaptive understanding of "market demand" - beyond traditional top-down market sizing approaches (e.g., total addressable market estimates). </li><li>Evaluate host-partner portfolios not just by volume, but by strategic value (contractual, grid readiness, real estate quality). </li><li>Develop internal tooling and frameworks for "host-type" strategy across geographies. </li><li>Support Strategic Deployment Plans & Drive Cross-Functional Intelligence </li><li>Contribute to the design of annual/quarterly build plans, integrating BD pipelines, host relationships, and regional constraints. </li><li>Identify over-concentrations, overlooked opportunities, and risks of ergodicity failure (i.e. repeated poor bets). </li><li>Work with BD, Finance, Engineering, and Policy teams to build planning inputs that reflect how the system actually works, not just how we wish it did. </li><li>Flag blind spots in assumptions and advocate for clarity under pressure. </li><li>Support and Develop Data Infrastructure Environment </li><li>Develop consistent and actionable data analysis on competitor landscape. </li><li>Utilize cutting edge agentic models and support the development of integrated large language models into the corporate ecosystem. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS Degree </li><li>You love data, you love problem solving, and you're motivated by building great products for a growing business. </li><li>Don't let Desired Experience dissuade you from applying. We'll listen. </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following: </li><li>EV infrastructure, logistics, utility/energy planning, urban systems, large-scale operations, infrastructure finance or operations research. </li><li>Strategy, ops, or network expansion roles in scaling tech/hardware firm. </li><li>Analytical rigor and practical fluency in: </li><li>SQL / Snowflake </li><li>Python </li><li>Spatial data (e.g., GIS) </li><li>Excel modeling </li><li>Strong communication instincts - you can reduce complexity into clean frameworks and briefings for executives. </li><li>Mental frameworks that fit our environment: </li><li>Understands systems evolve - and do not always follow predictable or stable patterns over time. </li><li>Believes forecasting is both quantitative and performative (it shapes decisions, not just reflects data). </li><li>Understands the difference between noise and signal in asset-level performance. </li></ul> <p>For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $110,000 USD to $145,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
