A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>We are on an exciting journey to improve the quality, consistency, and accessibility of our data to enable timely and informed decision-making across Securities & Markets. To support this effort, we are seeking a senior Securities & Markets professional with strong domain expertise and a deep understanding of front-to-back trading and post-trade processes.</p> <p>The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across Securities & Markets products and operating models, with a solid understanding of how trades are executed, captured, processed, risk-managed, and reported. This role is well-suited for an experienced Securities & Markets professional who understands the business end-to-end and is motivated to improve the quality and usability of the data that supports those activities.</p> <p>This is not a technical or analytics role. The Vice President will act as a business subject matter expert and data steward, partnering closely with front office, operations, risk, and control teams to improve the clarity, controls, and reliability of Securities & Markets data.</p> <p>This role is expected to act as a team lead for a group of 3-7 individuals, providing direction, prioritization, and day-to-day guidance, without full people-management accountability.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a business steward for critical data elements across the Securities & Markets domain (e.g., instruments, trades, positions, counterparties, pricing, valuations, exposures, lifecycle events)</p> </li><li> <p>Define and maintain clear business definitions, usage standards, and ownership for Securities & Markets data</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure data accurately reflects the business intent and operating reality of Securities & Markets products and processes</p> </li><li> <p>Identify where process gaps, manual workarounds, or inconsistent practices lead to data quality or control issues</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with front office, operations, risk, and control teams to improve upstream processes that generate or modify Securities & Markets data</p> </li><li> <p>Help prioritize and resolve data issues that impact reporting, client experience, risk management, financial control, or regulatory obligations</p> </li><li> <p>Translate business requirements and pain points into clear, actionable guidance for downstream consumers of Securities & Markets data</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in data governance forums and working groups related to Securities & Markets</p> </li><li> <p>Support data quality monitoring, root-cause analysis, and issue remediation efforts</p> </li><li> <p>Improve transparency and confidence in how Securities & Markets data is sourced, defined, and used across the organization</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a team lead, coordinating work, setting priorities, and mentoring junior team members</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of experience in Securities & Markets, such as trading, sales, middle office, operations, product control, risk management, or markets-related control functions</p> </li><li> <p>Strong working knowledge of the end-to-end Securities & Markets lifecycle, including trade capture, lifecycle events, valuations, settlement, and reporting</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to explain complex markets concepts clearly to both business and non-business audiences</p> </li><li> <p>Strong collaboration, influence, and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Exposure to data quality, control environments, or process improvement efforts (formal or informal)</p> </li><li> <p>Comfort working across functions and driving change without direct authority</p> </li><li> <p>Curiosity and interest in improving how business data is created, governed, and consumed</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience acting as a team lead or informal mentor</p> </li></ul> <p>What This Role Is Not</p> <ul> <li> <p>Not a data engineering, analytics, or technical role</p> </li><li> <p>No coding, modeling, or system development responsibilities</p> </li><li> <p>No requirement for formal data management or data architecture experience</p> </li><li> <p>Focused on business ownership, clarity, and partnership, not technology delivery</p> </li></ul> <p>The typical base pay range for this role is between $134k-$169k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
