<p>We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Gym Attendant to support daily operations at the Anderson Cohen Weightlifting Center. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all our members, assist with equipment maintenance, and support recreational classes and events while providing guidance on membership and sales.</p> <ul> <li>Oversee front desk operations. </li><li>Check-in members, answer phone calls, and collect memberships fees. </li><li>Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to complete transactions. </li><li>Provide information about memberships, programs, and schedules. </li><li>Use facility management software (Xplor) for scheduling, check-ins, and reporting. </li><li>Maintain class attendance records, document facility use, and assist with basic data entry. </li><li>Open and/or close the facility following established procedures. </li><li>Monitor entire gym floor to ensure safety protocols are being followed. </li><li>Regularly inspect and maintain equipment while ensuring all equipment is in working condition and sanitized. </li><li>Create continuity of services and promote future growth. </li><li>Set up and break down equipment for classes, events, or competitions. </li><li>Assist in creating content (photos, videos, captions) for social media platforms. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED, and </li><li>Any equivalent combination of experience of training. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Interest in strength sports, Olympic lifting, or personal training. </li><li>Photography/video editing experience. </li><li>Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and highly dependable. </li></ul>
