<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Gateway Science Academy South, located at 6651 Gravois Ave, is looking for a personable and talented administrative assistant. We are a PK4-5th grade school. A love for children is a must.</p> <p>Position Title: Administrative Assistant</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a professional office setting. </li><li>Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google applications </li><li>Operate a personal computer, laptop computer, peripheral computer equipment, photocopier, fax machine, and other office equipment with a high degree of skill. </li><li>Highly motivated with strong organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple tasks at one time. </li><li>Self-starter and able to work independently. </li><li>Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Supports the entire school </li><li>Answers calls providing information to parents and the community </li><li>Schedules appointments, meetings, and interviews </li><li>Keeps the office area organized </li><li>Greets visitors, students and families. </li><li>Oversees the federal school lunch program </li><li>Maintains accurate records </li><li>Performs other administrative tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Other Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Attend meetings and training as directed. </li><li>Present and communicate in a professional manner. </li><li>Work additional hours or overtime as directed </li></ul> <p>Please email your resume and cover letter to dweaver@gsastl.org</p>
