<p>Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance, is looking for a full-time experienced Procedure Scheduler to join our Stamford Care Center! We are the largest gastroenterology practice in the state of Connecticut with 31 Care Centers and still growing. Here at CTGI our promise is to treat every patient as if they were a member of our own families, and we are looking for team members who also embody this vision!</p> <p>A Short List Of Reasons Why You Should Work For CTGI</p> <ul> <li>Selected as a Top Workplace 8 Times </li><li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Very Fast-Growing Practice </li></ul> <p>What You Will Do For Us:</p> <ul> <li>Providing Remarkable Patient Experience: Schedule procedure and office visit appointments following CTGI policy and scripting </li><li>Attention to Detail: Update insurance and demographic information when scheduling appointments and procedures, obtain cardiac clearance for patients scheduled for procedures where warranted and follow up on procedure to ensure ASC has documentation </li><li>Team Player: Assist with any general office function at the request of the site supervisors or managers and lend support to other CTGI staff members as required, to ensure proper patient care and smooth functioning of the office </li><li>Versatility: Properly answer incoming phone lines, taking clear, concise messages, compose, process, and follow-up on electronic phone messages and alerts, and route messages to correct provider or employee </li><li>Expertise: Maintain familiarity with providers preferred prep. </li></ul> <p>What We Are Looking For In You:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent. </li><li>At least 2 years of related experience </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills. </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills | 3+ years of professional experience. </li><li>Experience with an EMR system is ideal, Epic experience is a plus. </li><li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task. </li><li>Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. </li></ul> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Salary: From $18.00 per hour, depending on experience</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Employee assistance program </li><li>Flexible spending account </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm </li><li>Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm </li><li>Day shift </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school or equivalent (Required) </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Office: 3 years (Required) </li><li>Customer Service: 3 years (Required) </li><li>EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) </li></ul> <p>Work Location: In person</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Excellent customer service skills are required </li><li>Experience working in a medical office </li><li>Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment. </li><li>Detail-oriented </li><li>Basic understanding of healthcare plans </li><li>Be able to read and understand medical benefits. </li><li>Bilingual is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Education: High school diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Experience: 2-5 years of prior medical scheduling is preferred</p> <p>Requirements for Level I Status:</p> <ul> <li>Entry level (1-4 years experience) and/or meet the basic requirements of the job with the need for additional supervision. </li><li>Excess of 4 years experience if meeting only the basic requirements of the job with need for additional supervision. </li></ul> <p>Performance Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. </li><li>Proficient technical (computer) skills. </li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize. </li><li>Self-motivated with initiative. </li><li>Strong sense of ethics. </li></ul> <p>GI Alliance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
