Will work remotely but must be able to travel up to 70% of the time to customer sites and ATS facilities.</p> <p>There is no relocation offered for this role. Candidate must live within the geographic region listed above.</p> <p>OVERVIEW:</p> <p>ATS' Global Services team is a dynamic, change-leading team that drives the delivery of value-driven Services to our customers worldwide. Services is a growing component of the overall delivery of value to ATS' customers globally and offers an opportunity for an opportunistic individual to create a well-defined offer structure of high-value service solutions to drive ongoing value.</p> <p>The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth within a defined geographic region by identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships, and delivering tailored automation service solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial automation systems, a strong technical acumen, and the ability to communicate complex service offerings in a clear and compelling way.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunity. </li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, including OEMs, and end-users. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, engineering teams, and procurement stakeholders. </li><li>Promote a portfolio of automation service solutions, including preventive and predictive maintenance, remote support, spare parts programs, and digital service platforms. </li><li>Lead complex solution selling engagements by coordinating with internal technical and account teams, subject matter experts, and project managers. </li><li>Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations. </li><li>Forecast regional sales performance, maintain CRM data integrity, and report on pipeline activity. </li><li>Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and service development. </li><li>Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer forums to promote brand awareness and thought leadership. </li><li>Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; technical background preferred. </li><li>5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial automation, engineering services, or manufacturing technology. </li><li>Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing key accounts. </li><li>Strong understanding of automation technologies (PLCs, robotics, SCADA, etc.) and associated services. </li><li>Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence technical and executive stakeholders. </li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. </li><li>Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management capabilities. </li><li>Willingness to travel regionally up to 70%. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Experience selling high-value services such as predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or reliability programs. </li><li>Familiarity with digital manufacturing platforms, IIoT, or smart factory concepts. </li><li>Use of CRM platforms for pipeline and activity management. </li></ul>
