<p>PURPOSE OF POSITION</p> <p>The Customer Service Specialist plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by serving as the primary point of contact for order management, product inquiries, and service support. This position ensures accuracy and timeliness in processing customer orders, resolves issues collaboratively with internal teams, and maintains high-quality communication throughout the entire order-to-fulfillment lifecycle. The role supports overall business objectives by enhancing customer satisfaction, strengthening internal coordination, and contributing to continuous process improvement. This is an onsite role at our Plainville, CT facility.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -</p> <p>Customer Support & Communication</p> <ul> <li> <p>Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and customer portals.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide clear, accurate information regarding orders, product availability, lead times, and service needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.</p> </li></ul> <p>Order Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Process customer orders through order management systems with a high level of accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform manual order entry when needed, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Review, update, and maintain order records in JDE or other enterprise software.</p> </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Coordination</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Sales, Engineering, and Logistics teams to communicate order status, expedite shipments, or address changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution.</p> </li></ul> <p>Systems, Reporting & Quality</p> <ul> <li> <p>Utilize customer portals and internal systems to retrieve, enter, and validate information.</p> </li><li> <p>Run reports and conduct audits of orders to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain organized and accurate documentation, logs, and account-specific records.</p> </li></ul> <p>Continuous Improvement & Additional Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Identify process gaps and propose enhancements that improve efficiency or customer experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in projects assigned by the Customer Service Manager to support department goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on service excellence and problem-solving.</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -</p> <p>Customer service experience desired, this may be waived for the right candidate</p> <p>#LI-CS1</p> <p>Ralliant Corporation Overview</p> <p>Ralliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
