This is a Per Diem/Pool position, meaning work hours are flexible and based on departmental needs. There is no guaranteed schedule, and shifts are offered as available. Ideal for candidates seeking supplemental income or flexible work arrangements. Responsibilities Assists with transport of patients. Performs any variation of the job that is directly related to the function of an orthopedic technician. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Assists the orthopedic surgeons requested. Participates in Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Indicator (QI) as assigned. Performs patient rounds, charting, charging, regular cleaning of equipment and in-service education that is directly related to the orthopedic technician service.
