Find your future with us. </li><li>Boeing Digital Solutions and Analytics is currently looking for several Software Application Developers to join their team in Englewood, Colorado. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services business organization. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong software development ability as a member of a full-stack, full life-cycle software development team, focused on continuous delivery of production quality software and compliance artifacts using Agile software development practices in both enterprise and cloud-based production environments. </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists development of Agile backlog (Epics and Features), and develops user stories. </li><li>As a member of an Agile team, performs coding of assigned features and user stories, and develops automated unit tests and feature tests for own code or code developed by others. Meets definition of done including complete testing documentation, and deployment automation. </li><li>Participates and contributes actively to Agile ceremonies (Program Increment Planning, Demonstrations at Scrum and PI levels, Retrospectives, etc.) </li><li>Supports data production on a cyclical basis, running complicated portions of data production, resolving issues with applications and environment, escalating issues to development and incident management as required. </li><li>Assists junior developers in solving complex and Client software solutions. </li><li>Contribute to improving the Agile practices and tools as part of team activities. </li><li>Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of full-stack software development </li><li>2+ years of experience using Agile tools and methodologies </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher </li><li>Aviation, navigation, or geospatial data experience </li><li>Full-stack Java, C++, Perl, and Linux experience </li><li>Scaled Agile or equivalent Agile certification(s) </li></ul> <p>Typical Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.). </li></ul> <p>Relocation:</p> <p>This position does not offer relocation.</p> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p>
