<p>Your Opportunity as the Plant Manager (full time, exempt)</p> <p>Location: Buffalo, NY manufacturing plant</p> <p>Work Arrangements: 100% on-site</p> <p>Reports to: Vice President, Operations - Pet & Sweet Baked Snacks</p> <p>Direct / Indirect Reports: ~200</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for plant performance in accordance with Business objectives for absorption, manufacturing variances, safety, quality, sustainability, cost center budgets, and capital project management </li><li>Be responsible for implementation and advancement of Continuous Improvement Programs </li><li>Responsible for development and advancement of employee engagement, labor relations, and Smucker culture across the organization </li><li>Be responsible for managing the customer-supplier relationships with corporate services, marketing, research and development, engineering and our external suppliers and vendors </li><li>Be responsible for staffing and professional development of plant leaders </li><li>Be responsible for developing the plant vision, master plan, capital budget, expense budget, and other strategic planning </li><li>Manage the relationship with local city representatives to ensure compliance with all regulations and maintain positive community relations </li><li>Own the Safety culture and set the standard for safety across the organization </li><li>Compensation range: $145,000 - $213,950 annualized </li></ul> <p>The Right Place for You</p> <p>We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together.
