<p>Location: Corporate Office, Vernon Hills, IL.</p> <p>Reports To: Senior Product Manager</p> <p>Position Description</p> <p>As a Rust-Oleum Product Management Intern, you will be responsible for providing support on specific project objectives as assigned by your manager.</p> <p>Our internship provides involvement in a variety of real-world projects such as:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Digital Marketing</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with enhancing features for ShopthePSC.com</p> </li><li> <p>Includes: content creation, eComm tile reviews/additions, copywriting, data management, wireframing, SEO keyword research</p> </li><li> <p>Brand Development</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with activities to support national brand development</p> </li><li> <p>Includes: brand logo and iconography development, voice creation, website design, website build, developing marketing activation plan recommendations</p> </li><li> <p>Competitive Analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Draft competitive landscape to visually represent top competitors in key product categories (service levels, marketing tactics, price, other support, etc)</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze how we compare, room for improvement, and prove messaging for strong RO Advantage</p> </li><li> <p>New Product Development / Line Extensions</p> </li><li> <p>Complete market pricing analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Create label redesign concepts</p> </li><li> <p>Draft recommendations for phased product launches on ShopthePSC.com</p> </li><li> <p>Continuous Improvement / Operations</p> </li><li> <p>Support Operations teams in analysis and execution of key tasks as needed</p> </li><li> <p>May include: tint center operations and expansion, MTO process improvement research, and more</p> </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Dependability - Follows instructions; checks in with manager throughout process; responds to management direction </li><li>Efficiency - Ensures work is completed by various deadlines </li><li>Organizational Skills - Work on multiple tasks </li><li>Written Communication - Edits work for spelling and grammar </li><li>Detail-Oriented - Notice and fix important details, think ahead for planning </li></ul> <p>Position Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Hands on working experience </li><li>Daily interactions with cross functional business team partners. </li><li>Networking with other summer interns working across other business functions. </li></ul> <p>Rust-Oleum is an equal opportunity employer.
