<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li><li>Demonstrates the behaviors of punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism towards supervisors and co-workers, and self-directed task completion. </li><li>Maintains clean work area. </li><li>Must comply with all departmental SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), company GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), Employee Handbook Policies, including attendance, and all safety rules and standards. </li><li>Works normal shift hours and overtime as required. </li><li>Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers in all departments to maximize production efficiencies as needed. </li><li>Must have the ability to read a standard ruler to 1/32" and a metric ruler to 1 mm. </li><li>Trains co-workers and new hires to set up, operate and use equipment. </li><li>Routinely inspects labels from all presses checking for quality and to ensure product conforms to customer specifications. </li><li>Identifies product defects. Notifies operators and/or supervisors of problems. Recommends corrective actions, and ensures that required corrections are made. </li><li>Analyzes customer orders. Suggests appropriate means for producing products consistent with standards. </li><li>Informs shift operators of job status, quality problems which have occurred, and corrective actions which have been implemented. Provides documentation as requested. </li><li>Analyzes process, and recommends improvements/changes. </li><li>Completes required forms. Maintains records, logs, and files as directed. </li><li>Assures all paperwork and products produced match and are in order. </li><li>Creates and sends COC and COA via emails to customer. </li><li>Reads a scale to interpret customer specifications and work production settings. </li><li>Maintains color standards and assists all departments with any quality needs. </li><li>Updates and maintains all individual employee training files. </li><li>Maintains all equipment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks. </li><li>Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and Manufacturing software. </li><li>Must be able to work collaboratively with co-workers. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</p> <p>Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.</p> <p>Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, chemicals and vibration.</p> <p>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</p>
