<p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Number 008347 Position Title Clinical Affiliations Coordinator, College of Nursing - 008347 Division Academic Affairs Department 470100 - Dean-Nursing Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent and four years of related secretarial and/or clerical experience, one year of which involved processing of agreements and/or contracts. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Job Description Summary</p> <p>The University of South Alabama's College of Nursing is seeking to hire a Clinical Affiliations Coordinator. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>These are the job duties required of the position.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Serves as the clinical affiliations coordinator for the College of Nursing with State Higher Education Boards, Boards of Nursing, Clinical Agencies, and Preceptors. </li><li>Acts as liaison between the College of Nursing faculty, administration, University attorney's office and outside agencies and boards with respect to contracts. </li><li>Provides information regarding nursing programs for completion of applications for state authorizations. </li><li>Compiles data from a variety of resources including Banner, the College website, bulletin, and faculty/administrative files as appropriate. </li><li>Corresponds with contacts at Higher Education Boards as needed to respond to requests for information. </li><li>Determines annual reporting requirements from all Higher Education Boards, and compiles required data. </li><li>Establishes and maintains files for each Higher Education Board to include requirements, communications, data reports, etc.. </li><li>Coordinates with College of Nursing administration and faculty to ensure that the College remains compliant with all State Board of Nursing regulations regarding nursing education. </li><li>Compiles and updates State Board of Nursing listings to include information regarding specific requirements for students practicing nursing in the state and faculty and preceptors supervising these students. </li><li>Establishes and maintains files for each State Board of Nursing to include requirements, communications, data reports, etc. </li><li>Serves as a liaison for faculty regarding each state's specific requirements. </li><li>Determines reporting/approval requirements for each State Board of Nursing, and compiles required data. </li><li>Submits the report using the Board's required format (paper and/or electronic) by the required deadline, once approved the Dean. </li><li>Assists faculty with clinical site placements for students. </li><li>Collects, assembles, and documents that clinical agreements and preceptor agreements are in order. </li><li>Monitors to ensure faculty and students have met regulations/conditions required by the hosting clinical site, State Boards of Nursing, and Higher Education Board. </li><li>Serves as a resource for faculty regarding these regulations/conditions by researching appropriate websites, and contracts. </li><li>Coordinates with Academic Affairs to provide information for completing applications for state authorizations. </li><li>Regular and prompt attendance. </li><li>Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required. </li><li>Related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Posting Information</p> <p>Number of Vacancies 1 Position End Date (if temporary) Job Open Date 03/12/2025 Job Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Special Instructions to Applicants Working Days Monday - Friday Working Hours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Job Location Main Campus Full-time or Part-Time Full Time Regular or Temporary Regular</p>
