<p>The Position</p> <p>Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.</p> <p>The Division of Emergency Management is recruiting to fill a Management Analyst 3 position in Carson City. This position encompasses statewide programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing adaptive capacity, reducing risk, and increasing community resilience through evidence-based planning, stakeholder collaboration, and mitigation investments. This role involves leading the planning, coordination, and implementation of policies, workflows, and systems across the Resilience Portfolio to ensure efficient and adaptable operations. Key responsibilities include managing hazard mitigation projects and grants, developing and maintaining the State Enhanced Hazard Mitigation Plan, and analyzing risk data to inform policy and funding strategies. The incumbent oversees budget planning and compliance, legislative analysis, and community engagement with a focus on access and functional needs populations, Tribal Nations, rural areas, and non-government offices (NGO). It also includes supervising the team of leads and specialists for the program and managing contracts and grants. Additionally, the incumbent represents the Division in interagency and statewide resilience initiatives.
