This role will support high-impact internal and external initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, elevate brand storytelling, and amplify our culture across all locations.</p> <p>Reporting to the Communications Manager, the intern will gain hands-on experience in content creation, internal communications, multimedia storytelling, and campaign execution-all while contributing to meaningful projects that shape the employee experience at a rapidly growing, 100% employee-owned company.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li>Content Creation & Storytelling </li></ol> <ul> <li>Write employee spotlights, ESOP stories, and location features for internal newsletters and social media. </li><li>Assist with scripting, storyboarding, and coordination for video projects, such as interviews and legacy pieces. </li><li>Support podcast production including episode prep, guest coordination, and creating post-production summaries. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Campaign Support </li></ol> <ul> <li>Contribute to summer campaigns highlighting core values. </li><li>Assist with branded t-shirt rollouts and messaging. </li><li>Support communication planning for the company's annual United Way campaign. </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Digital & Social Media </li></ol> <ul> <li>Create and schedule posts for Wausau Supply's LinkedIn Life pages and other digital platforms. </li><li>Monitor engagement analytics and develop performance reports. </li><li>Assist with content drafts and calendar planning. </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Internal Communications </li></ol> <ul> <li>Contribute content, ideas, and planning support for the internal newsletter. </li><li>Assist with communications surrounding summer events, including holiday party planning and National Sales Meeting preparation. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field. </li><li>Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail. </li><li>Interest in storytelling, brand messaging, and employee engagement. </li><li>Familiarity with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn). </li><li>Bonus: experience with video production, design tools, or podcasting. </li></ul>
