This includes, but is not limited to, managing the applicant tracking system, job requisition support, handling the onboarding process for new hires and direct oversight of the background check process. The position may involve screening candidates, scheduling interviews and supporting the hiring and selection process.</p> <p>Recruitment/Onboarding Specialist Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.</p> </li><li> <p>Manages job requisitions from creation to close, ensuring all steps are followed and updated.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with department managers to draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies and implements efficient recruiting strategies based on the role, industry standards, and organizational needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with job postings and advertisements.</p> </li><li> <p>Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates candidate interviews, preparing interview questions, and other selection materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Manages the offer process, ensuring accuracy in offer details, and presenting offers to candidates.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees and manages the BGI process to ensure candidates are cleared prior to hire.</p> </li><li> <p>Runs background and occupational screenings for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies & legal requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process to recommend salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides onsite support for new hire onboarding activities, including HRIS onboarding, systems set-up, office equipment, and operational needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides support to corporate staff as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills/Aptitude</p> <ul> <li> <p>Communication Proficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Ability</p> </li><li> <p>Critical Evaluation</p> </li><li> <p>Relationship Management</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, televisions, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This job may operate in industry locations as needed. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The position requires auditory and visual skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>This position requires less than 20% travel. Out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>1-3 years of recruitment experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in the Dining & Hospitality industry preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with MS Office Suite.</p> </li><li> <p>Workday Preferred</p> </li></ul>
