<p>About the Sales Associate Position</p> <p>We're seeking a motivated and friendly worker to join our team as a Sales Associate. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to ensure their experience is a great one! From informing customers about products and services to maintaining the sales floor, you'll be a representative of our company the client can count on.</p> <p>Sales Associate Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Greet customers as they enter </li><li>Assist customers with any questions or concerns while shopping </li><li>Inform customers about current deals or promotions </li><li>Stay informed of current store offerings, including products and services </li><li>Organize and clean the sales floor </li><li>Monitor inventory, restocking as needed </li><li>Encourage customers to buy more product </li><li>Hit [weekly/monthly/quarterly] sales goals </li><li>Operate the cash register and balance drawers </li></ul> <p>Sales Associate Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li><li>Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required </li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude </li><li>Superb attention to detail and multitasking skills in a fast-paced work environment </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Professional appearance </li><li>Availability to work, nights, weekends, and/or holidays </li><li>Physically able to move around for two or more hours and lift [25+] pounds </li><li>Basic math skills </li></ul>
