You'll partner closely with internal teams and external parties to protect Slide's interests while ensuring compliant, ethical handling.</p> <p> </p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Investigation & Case Development</p> <ul> <li>Conduct thorough investigations to establish liability and identify recovery opportunities </li><li>Gather evidence, statements, and documentation to support subrogation efforts </li><li>Collaborate with claims adjusters, underwriters, and legal teams to build comprehensive cases </li></ul> <p>Negotiation & Recovery</p> <ul> <li>Communicate and negotiate with attorneys, third-party administrators, and other carriers </li><li>Drive fair, equitable settlements using strong negotiation strategies </li><li>Maximize claim recoveries while maintaining professional relationships </li></ul> <p>Litigation, Compliance & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Manage an inventory of litigated claims in alignment with Slide and industry standards </li><li>Maintain accurate records of subrogation activity, correspondence, settlements, and payments </li><li>Stay current on statutory requirements and legal developments impacting subrogation and property/liability claims </li><li>Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience </li><li>Active Florida 6-20 Resident All Lines Adjuster License </li><li>3+ years of experience with an insurance carrier </li><li>2+ years of experience in subrogation or liability claims </li><li>Litigation handling experience preferred but not required </li><li>Strong knowledge of Florida insurance law and good-faith claims practices </li><li>Proven negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset </li><li>Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) </li><li>Experience with Xactimate is a plus </li><li>Commitment to living Slide's Core Values </li></ul>
