<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Title: Accounts Payable/Administrative Assistant</p> <p>Salary: Starting at $23/Hour</p> <p>Location: Belcamp, MD</p> <p>Apply Now</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Accounts Payable/Administrative Assistant</p> <p>BSC America is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Accounts Payable/Administrative Assistant to join our growing accounting team. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Under the CFO's Supervision, The Accounts Payable/Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating accounts payable activities of processing, verifying and reconciling supplier/vender invoices. The role requires experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of organization and confidentiality is expected.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare, input, and process vendor invoices and other information required for weekly payment processing. </li><li>Process invoices through data entry in an automated payable system. </li><li>Monitor vendor discount opportunities. </li><li>Setup and maintain vendor records in compliance with company policy. </li><li>Process outgoing payments such as checks, ACH and wires. </li><li>Accounting and Administrative work using Excel. </li><li>General administrative duties (file, copy) </li><li>Administrative duties including filing, scanning and assisting team on various projects. </li><li>Manage business vendors. </li><li>Coordinate and provide administrative support in a high-volume department. </li><li>Liaise with internal teams such as Operations, Human Resources and Accounting as needed. </li><li>Well organized with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be intuitive, resourceful, and be able to take initiative on projects </li><li>Good Computer Skills (Microsoft Office suite) </li><li>Knowledge of computerized accounting (Sage 300 preferred but not necessary) </li><li>Intermediate skills in Excel a must </li><li>Problem solving abilities and good organizational skills </li><li>Must be comfortable interacting with higher level executives </li><li>1-2 years of administration/coordinator experience </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>A.A. degree in Accounting or 2-3 years of A/P Accounting experience.</p> <p>Full Benefits package available including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & 401K.</p> <p>Apply Now</p>
