<p>Responsibilities for this Position</p> <p>Program Representative</p> <p>US-CT-Groton</p> <p>Job ID: 2025-15384</p> <p>Type: Full-Time</p> <p># of Openings: 1</p> <p>Category: Program Management</p> <p>EB Groton Shipyard</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Integrated Enterprise Improvement Team is seeking a highly motivated candidate who can operate with minimal supervision and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills to join the team and drive performance to attain the Navy desired 1 Columbia and 2 Virginia annual production rate. This role supports Enterprise Cost Reduction, Continuous Improvement, Technology Deployment and Span Reduction tasking, which is aimed at improving the manufacturability and affordability of the Columbia and Virginia Class Programs by implementing changes to the existing ship design, manufacturing processes, or businesses practices. This team interfaces with Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Design and Engineering, VCS Program Office, CLB Program Office, Design Build, Groton Operations, Quonset Point Operations, Materials Management, EB upper management, and Navy customers.</p> <p>Potential responsibilities of this position may include:</p> <ul> <li>Develop plan of action and milestones (POA&M) with stakeholders </li><li>Manage POA&M </li><li>Organize and run improvement events </li><li>Support idea generation and documentation associated with initiating new projects </li><li>Preparation of materials for various programmatic reviews with NAVSEA stakeholders and EB upper management </li><li>Interfacing frequently with NAVSEA stakeholders to update project status and progress </li><li>Develop and analyze program metrics, identify issues, and oversee required corrective actions </li><li>Resolve funding issues within tasking to allow work to continue uninterrupted </li><li>Provide mentorship and guidance </li><li>Support strategy development for Enterprise Improvement </li><li>Develop and present recommendations for concurrence </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Well-developed organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills </li><li>Proven ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and orally </li><li>Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office Tools (especially, Microsoft Excel) </li><li>Self-starter capable of working both independently and in a team environment </li><li>Data analysis skills </li><li>Close attention to detail and revision control </li><li>Ability to prioritize work and run multiple, concurrent tasks and problem solve </li><li>Eagerness to learn </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Bachelors of Science or Arts in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related fields, or at least 3 years of experience in a relevant area </li><li>2+ years of experience in Program Office, Process Engineering, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Test or equivalent experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in Program Office, Process Engineering, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Test or equivalent experience </li><li>Experience supporting major construction evolutions or other relevant operations experience. </li><li>Lean/Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Training </li><li>Knowledge of management tools and EB business systems (i.e., Artemis, EVMS or other EB specific tools) </li></ul>
