<p>The UCC Student Assistant will work in a team environment with Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA). They will be given the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge of current technology and best practices as related to the archives field. This student should be interested in handling unique historical documents and/or working with imaging software and technology.</p> <p>As a project assistant, this individual will be given the opportunity to work with unique historical collections in one or more of the following ways:</p> <ul> <li>Scan documents, photographs, negatives </li><li>Create registers of microfilm and microfiche </li><li>Process maps </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.</p> <p>Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Experience with historic documents</p> <p>Background Check?
