This position involves supporting the housekeeping team by performing various tasks to ensure a welcoming and clean environment for guests.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Housekeeping experience desirable. </li><li>Familiarity with HotSOS application desirable </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Neat, pleasant personality. </li><li>Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively. </li><li>Ability to read room numbers, dates and basic instructions. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. </li><li>Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms as needed. </li><li>Ensure all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, sheets, towels, etc.). </li><li>Assist housekeepers with room turnovers and special requests. </li><li>Transport linen, towels, and cleaning supplies to designated areas. </li><li>Help with the organization and storage of housekeeping supplies. </li><li>Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. </li><li>Utilize a mobile device through-out each shift that displays work orders for your section. </li></ul> <p>MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds </li><li>Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed </li><li>Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner </li><li>Perform other related duties as requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor, or Housekeeping Manager. </li><li>Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours </li></ul> <p>ENVIRONMENT: Indoor work with hard and carpeted surfaces.
