<p>As the Assistant General Manager, a typical day might include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Managing operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness </li><li>Directly supporting the General Manager, acting in the GM's absence when needed </li><li>Maintaining an accurate and up to date manpower plan of FOH staffing needs </li><li>Identifying operational opportunities to build sales and control costs; develop and implement plans to address opportunities </li><li>Exhibit high performance standards and ensure all FOH team members are providing exceptional service to patrons </li><li>Perform night check outs and audits </li><li>Investigate and resolve service/food quality concerns </li><li>Maintain safe, secure and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems </li><li>Other duties to be assigned based on venues requirements </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Staffing, training and developing FOH hourly employees through orientations, ongoing feedback, establishment of performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews on a regular basis </li><li>Provide a positive, fun working environment for associates </li></ul> <p>This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years' upper level management experience in a full food and beverage, high volume upscale and/or club environment required </li><li>Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background check </li><li>Valid TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification is required </li><li>High School Diploma required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>Exemplary customer service skills </li><li>Strong problem solving and analytical skills </li><li>Ability to work well with people internally and externally at all levels </li><li>Solid planning, organizing and scheduling abilities </li><li>Strong team building skills with emphasis on development and ability to think outside the box </li><li>Ability to create enthusiasm, demonstrate innovation and encourage growth and learning in others </li><li>Work hours necessary to maintain facility </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours</p> <p>The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
