Providing opportunities for others and maintaining excellence in education is the cornerstone of the company and has been from the beginning.</p> <p>About the Position:</p> <p>The Building Superintendent performs routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems, as well as improvements to building finishes. This role coordinates and schedules contractors for services including boilers, elevators, fire sprinklers, generators, irrigation, plumbing, and pest control. Responsibilities also include assembling and relocating office furniture and equipment, performing urgent janitorial services, and maintaining building grounds through landscaping, gutter cleaning, trimming, weed control, and snow removal at entrances and walkways (including evenings and weekends when necessary). The Superintendent receives and distributes packages and mail, maintains warehouse and storage areas, and supports event set-ups by arranging furniture and coordinating food and beverage services.
