<p>CLEAR Paraprofessional - Elementary Coburn Elementary</p> <p>Description of work: To work closely with student (s) under the direction of a teacher in an effort to facilitate the progress of the student in meeting the goals stated and to provide other instructional and support assistance as required by the teacher.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning. </li><li>Inform the teacher of any problems or special information about students. </li><li>Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned. </li><li>Work with students in independent study, skills work, and remedial work assigned by the teacher. </li><li>Other related duties may be assigned </li><li>Experience working with students with special needs preferred </li><li>Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed </li><li>Assist in gathering data on students </li><li>Discrete trial implementation and data collection </li><li>Safety care training which will be provided by WSPS </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree or 48 college credits attained, or WorkKeys completed </li><li>Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed </li><li>Experience working with students with autism </li><li>Background in ABA </li><li>Such alternatives found to be appropriate </li></ul> <p>Salary: Commensurate with the West Springfield Paraprofessional (Unit D) contract (Hourly Pay Range: $17.67/hour - $22.96/hour)</p>
