<p>Old Rochester Regional School District is seeking an innovative & collaborative School Psychologist at Sippican Elementary School in Marion, MA.</p> <p>This professional will work as part of a strong Student Services team to provide proactive and responsive support to both general and special education students who are experiencing academic and/or social/emotional stressors which interfere with their academic progress in the school setting.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Massachusetts Educator License </li><li>Experience as a School Psychologist in a public-school setting preferred </li><li>Cultural responsiveness and a growth mindset with students, families, and staff are a must. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as effective problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, as well as the ability to be flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment </li><li>A strong belief that all students can succeed </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Student Services Team and administration to continuously re-imagine and improve services and interventions informed by ongoing needs assessment, data review, and innovation in the field </li><li>Provide culturally responsive services to students and families from diverse backgrounds </li><li>Proactively and responsively liaison with families, faculty, and providers </li><li>Conduct psychological assessments to assess student learning, emotional, and behavioral needs </li><li>Assist in determining special education eligibility in compliance with federal and state guidelines </li><li>Assist in planning appropriate Individualized Education Programs for students with disabilities </li><li>Collaborate with staff, students and administration to identify and provide proactive and responsive social/emotional support and programming to students </li><li>Provide emergency consultation/intervention when necessary </li><li>Collaborate with staff, students, and administration to identify, develop, and provide proactive and responsive professional development and consultation to staff </li></ul>
