Here, new insights are welcomed and encouraged, learning is constant, and our dynamic setting enables positive people to do profoundly important work.</p> <p>Impella Connect is the first-of-its kind cloud-based technology that allows clinicians and Abiomed support to remotely view intuitive device metrics and live video stream of case information transmitted from the bedside controller of the Impella pumps.</p> <p>Abiomed has an immediate opportunity for a Product Owner to join the Heart Recovery Cloud team and help transform our clinical support tool to software as a medical device, supporting remote clinical decision making. This is an opening to build and improve our global cloud infrastructure with innovative technologies as we continue to scale our services and expand our offerings. If you are eager to use your product ownership and product definition skills to make a difference and directly impact patient lives, this could be the role for you.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Acts as the primary liaison between the agile team and partners, including product management, program management, design/user experience, engineering, and clinical specialists, to ensure clear communication of product vision and goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Translates the vision and strategy for Abiomed's cloud-based services into an execution plan for the scrum team.</p> </li><li> <p>Translates product roadmap features and cloud program projects into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.</p> </li><li> <p>Helps establish and maintain policies for working in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, and finds opportunities and risks.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors and reports on product performance, making data-driven decisions to improve customer experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates with internal and external teams for developing integration solutions for our remote monitoring platform.</p> </li><li> <p>Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of experience in a role on a product development team, such as project manager, product owner, engineer, or similar role</p> </li><li> <p>Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in the medical device industry; cloud-based software preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Agile methodologies</p> </li><li> <p>Data-driven decision-making, balancing customer input and technical needs</p> </li><li> <p>Proven interpersonal skills in translating between technical and non-technical needs</p> </li><li> <p>Strong verbal, written, communication and presentation abilities</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) for communication and planning</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with cardiology medicine and/or medical devices</p> </li><li> <p>Proven record in establishing relationships across functions within a global business.</p> </li><li> <p>Validated understanding of software as a medical device product development</p> </li><li> <p>Experience of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of web & mobile application architecture</p> </li></ul> <p>Other:</p> <ul> <li>Limited travel may be required. </li></ul>
