In return, you'll join a group that values mentorship, innovation, and professional growth while working on projects that directly support critical infrastructure and patient care.</p> <p>If you're passionate about ICT design-particularly in data centers or healthcare facilities-and want to be part of a team that is elevating the standard for quality and performance, we'd love to meet you.</p> <p>In the role of Technology Designer I, we'll count on you to:</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate and apply state-of-the-art low voltage technology systems, techniques, procedures, designs and modifications </li><li>Understand technology infrastructure systems, including communications structured cabling, outside plant systems and fiber-optic systems </li><li>Understand medical technology systems design such as nurse call, patient EETV, physiological monitoring, EMS radio and distributed antenna systems </li><li>Assist in preparation construction documents and specifications </li><li>Perform other duties as needed </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Preferred: 3 years of experience</p> </li><li> <p>Experience designing both telecom and security systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Industry certifications (BICSI Technician, BICSI Installer, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with TIA/BICSI standards and basic code requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience modeling low-voltage systems in Revit.</p> </li><li> <p>Construction administration experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong problem-solving and initiative.</p> </li><li> <p>Interest in pursuing RCDD, PSP, CTS, or similar credentials.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must </li></ul> <p>What We Believe</p> <p>HDR is our company.
