<p>Overview:</p> <p>We are looking for a strategic and results-driven marketing professional to lead efforts in Commercial Banking marketing across the enterprise. This role is central to shaping and executing marketing strategies that drive growth in the Commercial Bank, with influence across broader enterprise initiatives.</p> <p>With deep expertise in commercial banking, this individual will work closely with cross-functional partners across the enterprise to deliver impactful, data-informed marketing programs.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understands needs mission, vision and strategic direction of the enterprise and supports departmental alignment. </li><li>Develops and manages strong relationships across the division and with key partners across the enterprise. </li><li>Able to influence, create alignment, and inspire action within department and among peers. Influence and create alignment across the enterprise. </li><li>Collaboratively defines department vision, architecture, and framework for delivering required narrow functional area to the enterprise and applies industry best practices. </li><li>Works across Marketing to resource team to deliver enterprise outcomes. </li><li>Communicates clearly with department members as well as external stakeholders to create alignment. Influence, and inspire across the enterprise. </li><li>Supports the definition, development, and implementation of procedures, practices, and routines within own department and ensures they are understood and adhered to. </li><li>May represent M&T in external events for research and networking activities that benefit the company. </li><li>Coaches and develops team members on a regular basis. Oversees functional area's prioritization of work and delivery of outcomes. </li><li>Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations. </li><li>Complete other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Managerial/Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <p>Leads a team of individual contributors or Managers.</p> <p>Education and Experience Required:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>9 years of Marketing experience or relevant experience</p> <p>(Or in lieu of a degree, a combination of 13 years of higher education and relevant experience)</p> <p>3 years of team leadership experience</p> <p>Experience in leading thru complex problems</p> <p>Has demonstrated strong working relationships with internal and external partners at all levels of the organization</p> <p>Proven decision-making ability to inform, educate and influence management and team members.</p> <p>Education and Experience Preferred:</p> <p>MBA or other Master's Degree</p> <p>Expertise in Commercial Banking strongly preferred</p> <p>M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $188,800.00 - $314,600.00 Annual (USD).
