This organization is looking for someone professional who can work in a team just as effectively as they can work independently. A minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in general accounting with non-profit and government accounting experience is a big plus in addition to grant accounting experience.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$35/hr - $40/hr</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>Applicants for the Senior Grants Accountant role must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for previous experience with non-profit general accounting and grant accounting.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Senior Grants Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices. </li><li>Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors. </li><li>Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger. </li><li>Non-profit/Government accounting experience. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Grants Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>Grant Management experience, including non-profit accounting </li><li>Strong Excel skills. </li><li>Comfortable with independent work. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Grants experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Grants Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced Excel and experience managing a team. </li><li>Experience with ERP software is a plus. </li><li>Experience with non-profit and government software accounting is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
