Have a profound impact, grow, learn, and thrive as part of our team.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Speech Language Pathology Assistant supports the delivery of speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. The SLPA works directly with students or clients to implement therapy plans, collect data, and support communication goals while adhering to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Implement speech and language therapy activities as outlined in treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist </li><li>Provide direct support to students or clients in individual and group settings </li><li>Assist with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication interventions </li><li>Collect, document, and report data on client performance and progress </li><li>Prepare therapy materials and organize treatment environments </li><li>Support carryover of communication strategies into classroom or daily environments </li><li>Maintain accurate service logs, session notes, and documentation in accordance with district or organizational requirements </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other staff as directed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist </li><li>Adhere to all supervision requirements and scope of practice guidelines for SLPAs </li><li>Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, FERPA, and applicable state and federal regulations </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant studies, Communication Disorders, or a related field</p> <p>Valid SLPA license or registration as required by the state</p> <p>Experience working with children or individuals with communication disorders preferred</p> <p>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills</p> <p>Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively under supervision</p> <p>Basic proficiency with documentation systems and educational or clinical technology</p> <p>SESI.SW.1</p> <p>Posted Salary Range</p> <p>USD $35.00 - USD $37.00 /Hr.</p>
