This</p> <p>position has accountability for budgeting and financial management, as well as all community business and</p> <p>hospitality services, including customer relations, concierge, food and beverage, active life, health and</p> <p>wellbeing, and environmental services. Together they ensure seamless integration of gracious living, hospitality</p> <p>and a commitment to unsurpassed holistic care and wellbeing.</p> <p>The Executive Director is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and</p> <p>respect in all of the following responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Leads, implements, sustains and rewards a culture of wellbeing, teamwork, and respect for residents </li></ul> <p>and team members</p> <ul> <li>Along with the home office and community leadership teams, hires, retains, and leads a team of health </li></ul> <p>care, hospitality and business team members</p> <ul> <li>Along with leaders from other Waters' communities, works closely with corporate operations to develop </li></ul> <p>and implement streamlined and consistent processes across the enterprise</p> <ul> <li>Manages community budget, including labor standards and community level expenses, understands and </li></ul> <p>manages profit-loss statements, maximizes revenues and manages expenses</p> <ul> <li>Along with the Senior Living Consultant, ensures revenue and occupancy goals are achieved </li><li>Supports the Director of Health and Wellbeing in financial, human resources, and customer service areas </li><li>Works closely with food and beverage leadership to ensure high quality and exceptional customer </li></ul> <p>service and ambience in our restaurant and café</p> <ul> <li>Addresses escalated resident or guest complaints to ensure the highest level of customer service </li><li>Works with other community leaders to coordinate and manage special events </li><li>Along with other leaders, manages and carries out inspections of community/services, ensures </li></ul> <p>compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations</p> <ul> <li>Ensures effective security systems and regular testing of emergency procedures for the community in </li></ul> <p>partnership with the Environmental Services Manager</p> <ul> <li>Assists in creating an environment that fosters professional growth and achievement, and participates in </li></ul> <p>ongoing training and development necessary for successful performance</p> <ul> <li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Currently licensed as an Licensed Assisted Living Director in the state of Minnesota, or ability to obtain </li></ul> <p>required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in health care, hospitality services, finance, or related field preferred </li><li>Minimum of three years' of relevant experience in customer-oriented leadership </li><li>Previous experience in senior services preferred </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality and service in elderly care </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, profit and loss statements, maximize revenue and manage </li></ul> <p>expenses</p> <ul> <li>Commitment to customer service and team member/ resident wellbeing </li><li>Strong leadership and management skills, including effective relationship building, business acumen and </li></ul> <p>communication</p> <ul> <li>Must exhibit a high degree of initiative and creativity, strong judgment, and professional ethics </li><li>Strong organizational skills, with experience in negotiating and working toward mutually beneficial </li></ul> <p>solutions</p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and </li></ul> <p>bring a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy to the role</p> <ul> <li>Ability to remain calm and direct in stressful situations </li><li>Ability to adapt resources and meet the needs of the situation </li><li>Highly proficient using Microsoft Office </li><li>Ability to analyze and communicate financial information in a concise, professional manner </li></ul> <p>The Waters is an equal opportunity employer proudly committed to a diverse workforce.
