<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to help with the repairs and maintenance of our tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling facility in Los Angeles, CA.</p> <p>Shift: Full-Time / Monday-Friday / 6:00am - 2:30pm</p> <p>Pay: $41.08/hour</p> <p>Perks and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Union benefits plus pension </li><li>Vacation and sick time, holiday pay </li><li>Tool and Boot allowance </li><li>Yearly performance raises </li><li>Career advancement opportunities after 6 months of employment </li><li>401K -Employer Match </li><li>Health, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plans to choose from. </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems </li><li>As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system </li><li>You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls </li><li>You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy" </li><li>You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam) </li><li>You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience </li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds </li><li>Must have a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles </li><li>Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Technical School Certification </li></ul> <p>Essential Information for Our Employees</p> <p>At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees, and our compensation philosophy embraces diverse factors for fair pay decisions, valuing skills, experience, and the needs of our business.
