Mercy offers a NYS designated Stroke Center, Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and has received Pathway to Excellence designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center - the only hospital in the region and one of only two in NY State to receive this prestigious award</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Our Nurse Manager for the ICU/IMCU -</p> <ul> <li>Manage, lead, and support the staff members of the units, promoting safe nursing practice and intervening as needed. </li><li>Maintain operational aspects of the unit including participating in budget preparation, monitoring resources. </li><li>Collaborate with human resources to hire and evaluate staff and resolve issues. </li><li>Attend management meetings and participate on departmental committees. </li><li>Serve as a clinical and technical resource and role model for staff, applying knowledge to daily practice. </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>Passion for Critical Care </li><li>5+ years of clinical experience with demonstrated clinical expertise/leadership skills </li><li>Must have previous Critical Care and Managerial experience </li><li>Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required, Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. </li><li>Licensure: NYS Registered Nurse License </li></ul> <p>Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required</p> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>USD $133,870.00 - USD $160,665.00 /Yr.</p> <p>This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
