<p>CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect - Cloud Data Modernization opening for our client in El Segundo, CA. Location: El Segundo, CA Duration: 6 months Duties: Design and implement cloud-based data modernization solutions leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure/AWS services. Lead architecture design sessions and data migration initiatives to support enterprise data transformation. Develop and optimize data pipelines using PySpark and SQL to support advanced analytics and business intelligence. Administer and monitor Snowflake environments, ensuring performance, availability, and scalability. Implement security and access controls in cloud platforms, including user account and group management. Handle and process large and complex datasets including XML, JSON, and CSV from diverse sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud-based solutions. Skills: Strong expertise in Databricks, AWS, Azure, PySpark, SQL, and Type Scripting. In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud services and architecture. Proficient with Snowflake development, including SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and performance tuning. Experience in data load strategies and managing cloud database platforms. Skilled in handling complex data formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV. Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on Snowflake development experience. Experience with cloud-based data modernization projects. Demonstrated ability to manage and monitor cloud computing platforms. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
